Biography
I am currently a PhD Candidate at Florida State University, studying and researching Mathematics. During my graduate program, I have developed my passion for Machine Learning and AI, especially in developing new theoretical results and novel algorithms. With the enthusiasm for Mathematics since I was in elementary school, I have been enriching my exceptional skills in critical thinking and problem solving. I love to work in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning Applications, Data Science, and the related quantitative areas.
I received B.S. degree in Mathematics and B.B.A. degree in Finance, Summa Cum Laude, from The University of Mississippi in 2019. I was also an Honors Scholar with a research thesis in Portfolio Optimization methods.
I had some experience working in the insurance and banking industry, where my work focused on data analytics and machine learning in finance. Despite quantitative analytics in finance still being my passion, my current direction steers more towards the tech industry, where I can emphasize the technological aspects in my machine learning/AI research, and work with the most cutting-edge models in the field. I am joining Meta as a Research Scientist in 2025, after interning with them during the Summer and Fall 2024. I will keep working on Machine Learning/AI in the next step of my career.
If you are also a Machine Learning/AI enthusiast, feel free to connect with me on Linkedin.
